Wrap Around Playworker

We are looking to appoint enthusiastic and reliable staff to support our Before- and After-School Club. The role can be offered flexibly and we are happy to consider appointing two or three people to cover the required hours.

Hours available:

Mornings: 7:30am 8:30am

Afternoons: 2:45pm 6:00pm

You can apply for mornings afternoons or both. We will build the final rota around the successful candidates

What were looking for:

• Be able to develop positive relationships with young children
• Have an interest in the play needs of children
• Be able to participate in a variety of activities including arts and crafts cooking and other indoor and outdoor games.
• Be proactive using their own initiative to differentiate activities to ensure full inclusion for all abilities and ages.
• Be able to stay calm and objective when presented with unusual or challenging behaviour and circumstances
• Be enthusiastic and motivated and committed to working as part of a team

The Details

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: GLF Associate 1 23851 FTE

Actual Salary: Pro rata based on the hours agreed with the successful candidate(s).

Hours: 26.75hrs per week require coverage - 42 weeks per year (term time plus)
