Job Summary
Department you would be working with:The department R&D IT provides IT Services enabling R&D engineers to do their engineering work. The design environment is an integrated solution and service of Design Infrastructure EDA application landscape Design Data Management and Product Creation Applications. The Global R&D IT services are delivered from small number locations containing on-premises and Public cloud Data Centers (full set of services). The objective of R&D IT is to ensure Business Success and Market Leadership for NXP by providing Best-in-Class R&D IT Services and R&D IT is what you will do as Cloud DevOps storage engineer:In collaboration with the rest of the R&D IT teams:Manage and administer storage systems ensuring optimal performance reliability and availability in the AWS cloud and and maintain storage services & storage capacity and performance proactively addressing issues to ensure with other IT teams to design implement and optimize storage solutions based on organizational regular data backups and implement disaster recovery strategies to safeguard critical storage-related incidents and provide timely resolutions to minimize business security measures to protect stored data including access controls and and maintain documentation related to storage configurations procedures and and support NetApp ONTAP storage systems across production and DR AWS FSx for NetApp ONTAP (FSxN) including provisioning snapshots and replication storage provisioning health checks performance tuning and capacity upgrades patching and lifecycle management of NetApp hardware and compliance with security policies and audit storage performance tuning capacity planning and storage system on-call backup support and participate in maintenance activities including patching and you: Minimum qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science information technology or related as DevOps engineer with strong automation skills for storage technologies in the AWS cloud as well as on of three years of experience working as AWS cloud DevOps engineer with focus on storage technologies both on AWS cloud (Eg: S3 EBS EFS FSxN) as well as on premises (Eg: NetApp Pure storage).In-depth knowledge of storage technologies protocols and file systems (eg: NAS SAN NFS CIFS object storage).Strong automation skills preferably using Ansible Python as well as AWS experience working with the Linux OS and NFS storage in a high-performance compute with AWS would be the importance of working together with others to be successful as a team and as part of a larger -oriented hands-on and no 9-to-5 mentality. Customer-centric and no IT service provider mind set (SLAs siloed).Experienced as a DevOps engineer with IT infra as code (IaC) configuration management tools & analytical and problem-solving communication and documentation commitment to customer satisfaction and -oriented hands-on customer-centric mindset with strong commitment to satisfaction and player with collaborative approach valuing organizational success over silos.#LI-7013
