JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa is redefining the luxury day spa experience on the Gold Coastwith our innovative Spa by JW that soothes the mind lifts the mood and re-energizes the body. Its all about demystifying the experience and deliveringthe fourhallmarks of our treatment concept: Calm Nourish Invigorate and Renew. A visit to the Spa by JWis designed to enhance thewell-being of our mindful and fulfilledguests.

About the role:

We are looking for exceptional spa therapists on a casual basis with availability across the whole week who have passion for the Spa industry and are able to create immersive experiences for the guests by providing quality treatments including facials massage and body treatments in a luxurious and tranquil environment.

Critical responsibilities:

• Provide consultation and skin analysis prior to treatments

• Provide body and facial waxing/tinting services facial treatments manicures and pedicures and spa rituals

• Suggests treatment plans for future re-bookings.

• Provide massage services to guests using props and/or products.

• Provide body treatments to guests using body scrubs wraps and/or hydrotherapy.

• Arrange workstation treatment room and/or drapes.

• Maintain cleanliness of workstation and/or treatment room throughout shift dispose of trash and dirty linens and secure supplies and equipment at the end of each shift

• Assess guest needs and inquire about contraindications (e.g. allergies high blood pressure and pregnancy) before beginning service.

Successful Candidates will have:

• Recent experience as a beauty/spa therapist

• Experience and confidence in spa treatments such as facials massage and body treatments

• Previous experience in a 5 star Hotel Property (highly regarded)

• Diploma in Beauty Therapy

• You have excellent personal presentation standards and strong communication skills

• Able to anticipate guests needs and build genuine connection

• Reception experience in a similar environment is highly advantageous
