ELECTRICIAN / MECHANICAL TECHNICIANGannett Publishing Services / USA TODAY COKnoxville TNUp to $30.00 an hour based on experienceSign on bonus of $500 based on background and work experienceResponsibilities:Troubleshoot and repair automated equipment breakdownsUse of analog digital test equipment and electrical toolsExperience with networked I/O PLC networksand industrial troubleshooting and repair of DC drivesand Servo drivesPLC troubleshooting repair and replacementPerform preventative maintenanceKnowledge of NEC and OSHA regulationsOther responsibilities as assigned by supervisorExperience with the following helpful:Ability to perform minor power projects which include conduit and wiring installationAbility to understand complex electrical and pneumatic control diagramsKnowledge or ability to use machine shop equipmentHVAC experienceFamiliarity with newspaper printing presses and mailroom processing equipmentOn-the-job training where neededRequirements:3years of Industrial electrical / maintenanceExperience working with voltages of 600 volts or less and associated equipmentStrong communication skillsMotivatedMicrosoft office applicationsor similarPhysical requirements include but are not limited to climbing and working from ladders and steps working in some confined spaces periodic moderate to heavy lifting as related to various jobsWork schedule is nights weekends and holidaysThe team will assist with training
