Senior Full Stack Engineer

Simulmedia is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to strengthen our engineering team as we scale our platform and deliver new insights and analytics capabilities within our next-generation products.

A major focus of our technical roadmap is platform unification which includes the exciting challenge of rewriting our existing enterprise product into this modern unified technology stack

In this rolewhich features a targeted 30/70 backend-to-frontend allocationyou will work closely with product managers designers and data engineers to ensure the seamless integration of analytics features into the platform. The ability to frequently iterate and deliver high-quality features that are owned end-to-end is crucial in this role.

Location: Ukraine is mandatory. Our offices are located in Kyiv and Lviv. Teams are located in Kyiv and Lviv and primarily work remotely with occasional offline meetings.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement insights and analytics dashboards for the CTV self-service platform providing users with actionable data to enhance their campaigns.
• Develop both frontend (70%) and backend (30%) services using React and TypeScript ensuring seamless integration between components.
• Build robust scalable APIs using tRPC to serve analytics data to the frontend application.
• Create efficient pages using server-side rendering (SSR) or static site generation (SSG) via for performance-optimized analytics displays.
• Collaborate with designers to implement responsive and visually appealing user interfaces using Tailwind CSS ensuring a smooth intuitive experience for the platforms users.
• Optimize the full stack to ensure quick load times low-latency data fetching and smooth user experiences especially for data-heavy visualizations and analytics pages.
• Deploy and manage the platform using Vercel taking advantage of its serverless functions for backend processes and ensuring efficient deployments and scaling.
• Participate in code reviews pair programming and knowledge-sharing sessions to ensure high-quality maintainable code.
• Implement unit and end-to-end testing for both frontend and backend components to ensure reliability and reduce bugs in production.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering or a related technical field.
• Experience: 6 years of senior-level experience in full stack development with a strong focus on web applications and data-driven platforms.
• Core Languages: Strong proficiency in TypeScript including strong typing and interface design for scalable codebases.
• Frontend Expertise: Deep understanding of React and its ecosystem including hooks functional components and React Server Components (RSC). Proficiency in Tailwind CSS for building responsive accessible and aesthetically pleasing UIs.
• Data Visualization: Experience in building data visualization tools and dashboards using React-based libraries (e.g. ).
• Rendering: Experience with SSR and SSG using optimizing for performance and SEO.
• Backend Expertise: Proficiency in backend development (e.g. ) with tRPC as an API framework. Experience designing and developing APIs handling authentication authorization and security best practices.
• Data Architecture: Proficiency in building scalable and reliable data-fetching layers especially for real-time or large-scale analytics.
• Infrastructure: Experience with serverless architectures understanding of edge computing and CDN usage for enhancing performance and reliability. Solid experience with Vercel or other serverless platforms for deployment CI/CD pipelines and performance monitoring.
• Testing: Experience with unit and end-to-end testing frameworks such as Vitest Cypress/Playwright or similar.
• Version Control: Proficiency in Git including experience with pull requests code reviews and branching strategies.
• Soft Skills: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Timezone: Ability to communicate effectively with the U.S.-based teams and work 11:00 AM 8:00 PM EEST.

Bonus Points For

• Familiarity with CTV platforms or working experience in digital advertising or media analytics.
• Knowledge of SEO accessibility and performance optimization for web applications.
