Post Details
Title: Clinical Placement Co-ordinator
Contract: Permanent Whole-Time
Location: Ballymun Headquarters Dublin (with travel required)
Reporting to: Nurse Practice Development Co-ordinator / Director of Nursing
Salary
(LSI applicable) as per HSE salary scale and grade code.

Purpose of the Role
The Clinical Placement Co-ordinator will support and guide pre-registration nursing students and clinical staff to ensure that clinical placements provide high-quality learning experience aligned with programme requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate and support students learning in clinical environments
- Promote evidence-based practice
- Support preceptors and nursing staff
- Liaise with academic and clinical stakeholders
- Coordinate student placements
- Deliver teaching and training sessions
- Participate in audits and quality improvement
Eligibility Criteria
- Registered in Intellectual Disability Division (NMBI)
- Level 8 Degree or higher
- Minimum 3 years post-registration experience (2 in student learning)
- Full clean drivers licence and access to transport
