Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Corporate Director Talent Acquisition is accountable for the overall strategy design operation and management of Talent Acquisition initiatives practices policies and systems for Emory Healthcare.
- This position applies solid business strategy project management methodology communications and leadership skills to efficiently and cost-effectively assure a high caliber and diverse workforce that will support Emorys culture mission and values.
- The Corporate Director is responsible for designing and executing a hiring strategy the drives continual process improvement across the Talent Acquisition team and delivers seamless service to the organization.
- They will oversee a centralized team of talent acquisition managers consultants and specialists that support the HR Shared Services operational model.
- As the leader of the TA function they will play an integral role in refining the collaborative culture within Talent Acquisition and foster a work environment that promotes productivity operational efficiency teamwork and service.
- The Corporate Director will proactively consult with healthcare operations senior leadership to identify TA needs and design and deploy innovative employee recruitment strategies to meet those needs.
- They will work collaboratively with fellow HR leaders both within the hospitals and corporate functions to ensure that talent solutions are effective for the healthcare system including with Workforce Strategy senior leader and associated teams for talent solutions recruitment marketing hiring projects and other strategic initiatives.
- Through their TA management team they will oversee the recruitment workflow sourcing strategies recruitment operations partnership with HR Technology on maximizing the applicant tracking system and compliance with applicable regulations.
- They are fully accountable for the attainment of expected service levels and the overall success of talent acquisition services.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Masters degree in Human Resources or related field preferred Bachelors required.
- PHR/SPHR strongly desired.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to function as a facilitator teacher coach strategic partner and consultant is required.
- Basic financial acumen and knowledge of HR systems and process management.
- Ability to build relationships across an organization and influence senior leader.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (MediumMax 25lbs): up to 25 lbs 0-33% of the work day (occasionally); 11-25 lbs 34-66% of the workday (frequently); 01-10 lbs 67-100% of the workday (constantly); Lifting 25 lbs max; Carrying of objects up to 25 lbs; Occasional to frequent standing & walking Occasional sitting Close eye work (computers typing reading writing) Physical demands may vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks.
