Job Summary
Full Time M-F 8:30a-4:30p (flexibility required)$16/hourSUMMARYProvides safe transportation for clients and agency personnel as needed to any/all agency programs or functions and assists staff in supervising clients during said functions. Ensures cleanliness and upkeep of vehicle and may perform additional custodial and building maintenance tasks when not driving. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSTo perform this job successfully an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential function listed below:Provides safe transportation of clients and agency personnel as needed to any/all agency programs or assist disabled passengers into and out of vehicle and to communicate with medical and or therapist keep records of trips and/or behavior of passengers. Responsible for cleanliness and upkeep of vehicle including refueling oil maintenance and the like. Maintains proper vehicle documentation e.g. registration inspection sticker insurance etc. Maintains ethical and professional standards as outlined in agency policies and abides by all statutes in conducting agency business. May perform other duties when not driving such as custodial and maintenance RESPONSIBILITIESNone required. Minimum Knowledge and Skills required by the Job The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or abilities required to perform the job: Education and Experience: High School Diploma or the equivalent requiredExperience in similar role preferredCertificates Licenses and Registrations: Valid Drivers License and car insurance required for at least 1 year in the state of New Skills and Abilities: N/AOther Requirements: Travel as neededPhysical Requirements: Heavy work. Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
