Key responsibilities include delivering engaging science lessons supporting practical investigations monitoring pupil progress and maintaining accurate assessment records. You will work closely with colleagues to develop teaching resources and contribute to departmental planning and curriculum development.
The successful candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. A strong subject knowledge across science disciplines is essential along with the confidence to teach pupils across Key Stages Three and Four.
You should demonstrate excellent communication skills effective classroom management and the ability to inspire pupils to develop a genuine interest in science. A willingness to contribute to extracurricular activities and school life will be highly valued.
