Job Summary
The Designer will support the goals and programs established by the management team.
These roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provide and check drawings / BOM as per customer requirements.
Prepare bulk MTOs (Material Take Offs) and detailed BOMs (Bill of Materials) with no
supervision from Engineer.
Ensure drawings follow the Engineering and quality standards set by the leads.
Prepare layout drawings to customer to present the proposed equipment and the
function of the equipment.
Prepare and complete various electrical deliverable drawings and documents such as
cable routing panel drawings panel layout electrical schematics interconnect diagrams
loop diagrams single-line electrical wiring schematics cable schedule lighting location /
layout / plan instrument location / layout / plan earthing details I/O (Input/output)
schedule electrical termination hook-ups etc.
Help in solving problems by simulating the problems in drawings.
Prepare sequence drawing and procedure for Factory Acceptance Test.
Prepare and compile installation procedure for submission to customer.
Supervise the outsourcing of engineering design work to 3rd party engineering / design
firms when needed.
Review as required vendor data and drawings to ensure compliance with client
specifications or applicable standards.
Produce report data from models and assist in providing necessary design information to
Project/Client/Third Party as required.
Provide and document Lessons learned feedback and utilize findings from the process
