Job Summary

Hands-on experience with IBM z/OS Connect Designer API toolkit or Visual Studio Code tools for generating provider/requester projects and language structures.
Working knowledge of z/OS application environments such as CICS IMS Db2 COBOL and PL/I.
Strong understanding of REST APIs OpenAPI 3.0 and API lifecycle design.
Ability to map mainframe data structures to JSON and back using tools such as JSONata or the built-in mapping functions.
Familiarity with mainframe security concepts such as authentication authorization and API gateway-style controls.
Basic understanding of JCL datasets batch jobs and z/OS development workflows is helpful for troubleshooting and deployment.
