Were hiring a Civil/Land Development Designer to support our engineering team with plan production and technical design work. This role is heavily CAD-based and will contribute to a variety of site development projects.
Key Responsibilities- Assist engineers with the development and delivery of civil engineering and land development projects
- Produce CAD drawings plan sets exhibits and supporting documentation
- Support design tasks for land development projects including:
- Stormwater management and drainage layout
- Water and sanitary utility design
- Site grading and earthwork plans
- Roadway and roadway improvement plans
- Other civil/site design items as needed
- Prepare basic design calculations quantities and reports (as applicable)
- Participate in project coordination activities and if desired interact with clients under supervision
- Follow internal CAD standards and contribute to organized project documentation
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field or equivalent industry experience
- Land development/site design exposure is preferred but not required
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to learn quickly and grow in the civil engineering field
- 2 years CAD experience
