    Technical Program Manager Snowflake Migration (BFSI Data Platform Modernization)

    Role Summary

    We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Managerto lead large-scale enterprise data platform modernization and Snowflake migration programsfor clients in the Banking Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI)sector.

    This role requires a strong combination of program leadership technical understanding of modern data platforms and stakeholder managementacross client and delivery teams. The ideal candidate will oversee end-to-end migration initiativesfrom strategy and design through implementation and stabilizationwhile ensuring alignment with business goals regulatory requirements and enterprise architecture standards.

    The Technical Program Director will act as the central leader across multiple teams driving execution managing dependencies ensuring delivery quality and maintaining strong engagement with senior client stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities

    Program Leadership & Delivery Oversight

    • Lead end-to-end Snowflake migration and data platform modernization programsacross multiple teams and workstreams.
    • Define and manage the overall program roadmap delivery milestones dependencies and risk mitigation strategies.
    • Ensure successful execution across migration phases including assessment design migration validation and production stabilization.
    • Establish program governance frameworks including reporting cadence escalation paths and executive updates.

    Stakeholder Management & Client Engagement

    • Serve as the primary interface for senior client stakeholdersincluding CIOs CDAOs platform leaders and business sponsors.
    • Facilitate design alignment and decision-making across architecture engineering security governance and business teams.
    • Provide clear program status updates risk assessments and mitigation strategies to executive leadership.
    • Build trusted relationships with client leadership and ensure alignment between business priorities and program execution.

    Technical Oversight & Architecture Alignment

    • Ensure migration strategies align with Snowflake architecture best practices and cloud-native design patterns.
    • Collaborate with architects and engineering teams to guide solution design and implementation.
    • Provide oversight on data migration approaches including:
      • Data ingestion and transformation patterns
      • Data validation and reconciliation
      • Performance optimization and cost governance
    • Ensure integration with enterprise ecosystems including data governance security and downstream analytics platforms.

    BFSI Domain Alignment

    • Ensure migration approaches consider financial industry regulatory requirements data governance policies and risk controls.
    • Align platform modernization efforts with business capabilities such as risk analytics regulatory reporting fraud detection and financial operations.
    • Provide industry perspective and best practices for enterprise data platform transformation in BFSI environments.

    Program Governance & Risk Management

    • Establish program management frameworks covering:
      • Delivery governance
      • Change management
      • Risk identification and mitigation
      • Resource planning and allocation
    • Manage cross-team dependencies across data engineering infrastructure testing and operations teams.
    • Ensure quality assurance and validation processes are embedded within the migration lifecycle.
