MW Partners is currently seeking a Manager-Project/Product to work for our client who is a well-known leading utilities company.
Responsibilities and duties:
- Manages activities of one or more large mid-to long-term projects with responsibility for results in terms of costs methods and outcomes.
- Develops business plans objectives and initiatives for the organization.
- Provides inputs to organizational objectives and policies and ensures delivery of results.
- Engage regularly with senior management as a key consultant on critical business issues.
- Manages and executes HR projects collaborates with cross-functional HR teams and sets tactical and strategic priorities.
- Takes a lead role in implementing change management strategies for HR projects and creates communication plans and materials to engage and inform employees and stakeholders.
- Implements bene ts realization satisfaction surveys and metrics tracking to quantify HR project ROI and value delivery.
- Implements project management reporting tools progress dashboards and methodologies to gain visibility into HR project health and status.
- Works closely with third-party vendors to ensure contract terms and conditions are being met as well as managing the project schedule.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of progressive project management experience including significant experience leading traditional phase-based (Waterfall) projects and applying Agile/Scrum practices in a hybrid delivery environment.
- Strong working knowledge of project governance change control and formal approval processes.
- Experience managing projects with procurement vendor contracting and third party delivery components.
- Ability to apply Agile/Scrum practices within a broader traditional or hybrid project framework.
Desired Skills
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred; equivalent project management certification or demonstrated experience may be considered.
