Job Summary
Position: CNC Machinist Programmer
We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of CNC Machinist Programmer for our clients Milling Department. This is a full-time opportunity within a well-established machine shop that manufactures high-quality close-tolerance parts for a wide range of industries.
Job Responsibilities:
- Efficiently operate CNC milling machines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment to meet customer requirements.
- Complete all necessary documentation including job travelers operator check sheets and inspection reports.
- Perform first-piece and in-process inspections to ensure product quality and make necessary adjustments.
- Collaborate with other team members to meet manufacturing goals.
- Work independently with minimal supervision but seek assistance when necessary.
- Maintain effective communication and foster a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
- Skilled in utilizing various measuring tools for precision work.
- A minimum of 3 years experience operating CNC Vertical 3-Axis milling centers.
- At least 5 years experience in a setup/programming role with CNC 3-Axis milling centers.
- Experience with Mastercam software is required.
- Previous experience in roles such as CNC Machinist CNC Programmer or CNC Mill Machinist is preferred.
