Job Summary
Qualifications Qualifications Proven experience as a MIG welder and fabricator Proven experience welding thin gauge steel and/or aluminum Strong knowledge of fabrication metal fit up measurement devices (i.e. calipers micrometers) and blueprint reading Candidates must be familiar with MIG(GMAW) and/or TIG(GTAW) processes Fabrication and surface prep/blending are also required Ability to weld cleanly neatly and accurately Skilled in grinding finishing and inspecting welds Must pass a weld test Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Work Environment Onsite face to face work in a non union manufacturing facility Work alongside an experienced long tenured welding team
Responsibilities We are seeking skilled MIG Welders and Fabricators to join our production team. This role focuses on welding and fabricating sheet metal components used in the manufacturing of air handlers and related products. The ideal candidates are experienced detail oriented welders who enjoy building custom parts not repetitive production welding. Key Responsibilities Perform high quality MIG welding on sheet metal Fabricate fit and assemble metal parts according to blueprints drawings and specifications Conduct precise fit ups and ensure proper alignment before welding Grind and clean welds to meet quality and appearance standards Safely handle and transport fabricated items to the next workstation as needed Maintain a clean safe and organized work area Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
