Job Summary

Position: BigPanda AIOps SME IBM NetCool to BigPanda

Migration Role: BigPanda AIOps Engineer / SME Experience: 8 10 years (Expert level)

Location: Chicago IL On-site

Start Date: Immediate

Role Objective Lead and execute the migration from IBM NetCool (OMNIbus) to BigPanda modernizing legacy event management into an AIOps-driven incident intelligence platform with reduced alert noise improved correlation and tighter ITSM integration.

Scope of Work

Assess current IBM NetCool setup (ObjectServer probes enrichment correlation rules)

Design and execute NetCool BigPanda migration (phased or controlled cutover).

Configure BigPanda ingestion normalization deduplication enrichment and correlation.

Integrate BigPanda with monitoring tools and ITSM (e.g. ServiceNow).

Tune correlation patterns to reduce noise and improve incident accuracy.

Support testing go live hypercare and operational handover.

Must Have Skills (Screening Mandatory)

Hands on BigPanda implementation experience (not just exposure).

Strong IBM NetCool / OMNIbus background (event flow rules probes enrichment).

Proven experience in AIOps / Event Correlation / Incident Intelligence.

ITSM integration experience (ServiceNow preferred).

Scripting & integrations: REST APIs Python/Shell.

Strong understanding of ITIL-based incident & operations workflows.

Good to Have

Experience with other AIOps tools (Moogsoft Splunk ITSI OpsRamp).

Exposure to cloud / hybrid monitoring environment
