This role is part of a really important customization project that sits between OUR CLIENTS technical teams and the clinical side of the business. The developer will be involved from the very start helping build the foundation of the solution. The work will be roughly a 70/30 split between front end and back end with a heavier focus on the UI and workflow but still hands-on with APIs and backend integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop a custom front-end application that extends Power BI dashboards beyond standard out-of-the-box capabilities
• Build UI components that integrate directly with Power BI data models and visuals
• Develop interactive workflow elements such as:
  • Custom tables and views
  • Checkboxes approvals and user-driven actions
  • Enhanced layouts and screen flows that support business processes
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define layout architecture wireframes and UI skeletons before full build-out
• Translate existing Power BI data structures into intuitive user-friendly front-end experiences
• Augment and extend pre-built Power BI components (rather than rebuilding core tables from scratch)
• Work closely with backend data and BI teams to ensure seamless integration and performance
• Participate in iterative development cycles incorporating feedback as the UI is refined and expanded

Qualifications

• Strong front-end development experience (JavaScript modern UI frameworks web-based application development)
• Strong front-end development experience with frameworks such as Angular or React familiarity with JavaScript TypeScript HTML and CSS and the ability to work with APIs particularly those built with C# frameworks
• Hands-on experience working with Power BI dashboards data models or embedded analytics
• Experience building custom UI extensions or applications that sit on top of BI or analytics platforms
• Solid understanding of data-driven UI design and how users interact with complex datasets
• Ability to take a loosely defined concept and help shape it into a structured scalable UI solution
• Comfortable working in an environment where the application is being built from the ground up
• Experience with WebX or similar web-based extension frameworks
• Prior work embedding analytics or dashboards into custom web applications
• UI/UX sensibility ability to think beyond code and into usability layout and workflow
• Experience working in agile or iterative delivery environments
• Built and maintained APIs supporting SPA front ends (e.g. React/Angular/Vue) enabling seamless data retrieval and UI interactions.
