Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Field Patrol in Tempe AZ you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer in a healthcare location where you will patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and support staff patients and visitors with professional communication and customer this armed post you will bring reliability integrity and teamwork to each shift while contributing to a caring and responsive environment.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility parking areas and perimeter to help identify unusual activity access concerns and/or potential hazards.
- Monitor access points verify credentials as directed and document security-related activities incidents and/or observations in required reports.
- Support staff visitors and/or vendors with directions and information while helping to maintain order and following established protocols for sensitive healthcare environments.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Have at least 6 months of armed security-related law enforcement and/or military experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
