Process Control (Foaming) Manager

Key responsibilities:

Lead process of continuous improvement (CI) on foaming process assembly and equipment

Identify Improvement Opportunities by following companies KPIs (e.g. yield downtime OEE Consumption cost) to find inefficiencies.

Use engineering and statistics tools value stream mapping and root cause analysis (RCA) to target impact areas.

Cross department collaboration with POD MR and QA to uncover process paint points.

Establish Continuous improvement goals (SMART goals) tied to business outcomes (cost cycle time Quality/Yield increase waste and rework reduction).

Use structured CI methodologies (Lean manufacturing Six sigma DMAIC PDCA).

Lead cross functional teams.

Forms CI project teams with members from operations quality maintenance and engineering.

Facilitate Kaizen events or workshops to brainstorm and implement quick wins and long-term changes.

Ensures accountability by assigning roles (e.g. project champion process owner analyst).

Implement Process Controls & Automation:

Optimize control loops alarms and automation systems.

Ensures the team present attractive investment to the company.

Measure & Report Results Tracks progress using dashboards and KPIs for weekly review with company Manager Director (MD).

Conducts post-implementation reviews to evaluate ROI and effectiveness.

Communicate improvements and lessons learned to stakeholders and leadership.

Implement the Capex & Opex project.

Identify and justify the investment needs (Strategic planning: Quality productivity and efficiency).

Data driven analysis to support investment (High process variability high maintenance cost aging equipment)

Implement project by following the project stage gate model.

Review design and process to work out the best solution to ensure project meet the target cost and quality expectation.

Technical support for the investment projects throughout the execution.

Project manage and coordinate the implementation of the solution.

Prepares necessary economic justification date for recommended equipment or process improvements and evaluates new equipment for possible use to improve quality cost and line operating efficiencies.

Analyze production/process data to identify bottlenecks and root causes.

Monitor Process & Performance Data: Collects real time and historical data to analyses trends and abnormalities in process performance.

Use structured root cause analysis method (5 whys fishbone diagram pareto statistical process control (SPC) process FMEA etc).

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to confirm observations gather qualitative input and run design of experiments or pilots test to verify root causes.

Implement and monitor corrective actions post changes and embed these changes into standard work.

Present conclusion and next steps to Foaming steer committee.

Daily Duties

Daily communication with his team be part of foam Steer committee

Periodically check the compliance of process implementation.

Investigate root causes and perform corrective actions for foaming.

Evaluate & review manufacturing feasibility for new product and changes about foaming.

Introducing new products to workshops with focus on the manufacturability and consistency of new products.

Preparation for New-type container production.

Analyze and propose design for process design for manufacturing.

Organize the tests for new container design and materials or new suppliers and make evaluation report.

Works on emergency repairs together with relevant parties and issue investigation reports including countermeasures and solutions.

Drive supervise and coordinate foaming process and machinery inspection/engineering activities with site supervision team.

Others

Coordinate the planning and development of processes and equipment that incorporate the most advanced cost-effective technology for engine assembly machining measurement and material handling.

Give good ideas for Tooling jig modification or improvement.

Work with quality and production to identify gaps between current process and standardized work and develop corrective actions

Identify and solve process and quality problems for assigned processes

Work closely with maintenance engineering to upgrade maintenance plans and spare parts minimum stock.

Work closely with the design team to improve container design.

We are looking for:

Bachelors or masters degree in Engineering (Chemical Industrial Mechanical etc).

Proven 7 year experience in production or process engineering.

Experience with process control instrumentation and automation.

Familiarity with quality tools (SPC DOE FMEA Six Sigma).

Competence in statistical analysis software (e.g. Minitab JMP) and MS Office.

Project management skills

Familiar with lean Six sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.

Strong communication and leadership ability.

Ability to communicate clear messages and make complex ideas easy to understand for everyone.

Demonstrated experience and advanced knowledge of process control data collection systems and data analysis.

Good communication ability in English both of writing and speaking.

Familiar with Auto-CAD and PowerPoint Word Excel Project etc.
