Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • SharePoint Redesign & UX
    • Assess current SharePoint site structure layout and content organization.
    • Propose improvements to navigation content hierarchy and user flows.
    • Gather feedback from users to incorporate in proposal
    • Present project plan on implementation of changes.
    • Develop page templates libraries and layouts that align with best practices.
  • Content Management
    • Audit existing documents pages and libraries; identify outdated duplicate or missing content.
    • Coordinate with content owners to migrate or update materials.
  • Site Development & Configuration
    • Propose plan to update site structure and identify resources needed (IT).
    • Ensure consistent visual design aligned with organizational branding.
    • If project not completed by end of internship propose and develop completion plan
  • User Engagement & Feedback
    • Create user guides or quick-reference materials to support adoption.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelors (either rising Junior (completed 2 years by start) or rising Senior (completed 3 years by start)
  • Disciplines:
    • Graphic Design Business Analytics Digital Transformation (business administration with any of these disciplines acceptable).
  • Relevant coursework or extracurricular experience in UX tools and designs is a plus.
  • Open to currently enrolled students or those who have graduated within one year of the internship start date.

Skills & Other Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Team-oriented but able to work independently when needed.
  • Adaptable and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and time management.
  • Basic familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint Online.

Additional Information

  • Internship Duration: 10 14 weeks.

Working Conditions

  • This role will be based on-site in Insert work location.
  • Regular use of a computer and other office equipment is necessary.

Physical Requirements

  • Sitting for extended periods while working on a computer or in meetings.
  • Use of hands and fingers for typing writing and handling documents.
  • Occasional lifting of objects or materials up to 20 pounds for administrative tasks.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
