When will I work
- 4/10s Schedule Primary Schedule The primary work hours for this position are 6:00am to 4:30pm Monday through Thursday with overtime required as needed.

Position located in Brookings SD in our HSPR department.
What will the work look like for me
Control Systems Assembler
- You will build the Control Systems that run our various video displays.
- Learn the modular and technical construction displays interpret technical and non-technical drawings safely operate hand tools and participate in a build team.
- Program and Configure Laptops.
- Build and Configure Control System.
- Assemble Digital Media Player (DMP) Controllers.
- Learn Daktronics products systems and processes and assemble product in a safe accurate and timely manner.
- Work scheduled overtime when necessary.
- Willing to work in any manufacturing department through flexibility.
- Perform other duties as needed to meet customer expectations.
Qualifications
To be considered for Control & Computer Systems Assembler we require the following:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Current or previous successful metal machine operation experience preferred.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to learn quickly.
- Ability to successfully participate as a member of a team.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Regularly and reliably work the scheduled to work overtime when workload requires.
- Wear all proper protective equipment as required in work area in accordance with Daktronics Safety Policy and OSHA may include safety glasses safety shoes/boots hearing protection and electrostatic discharge wear.
- Physical requirements include the ability to:
- Distinguish and identify color.
- Read fine print.
- Work with odors (solder paint solvent or general manufacturing odor).
- Lift and carry heavy (up to 50 lbs.)and/or awkward items.
- Stand or sit for the full shift.
- Have full range of motion (including but not limited to bending and lifting) required to perform the job function.
- Maintain steady hand-eye coordination.
- Reach in all directions and in potentially awkward positions.
- Fluent in English written and verbal.
- Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
