Job Summary
Overview
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology Test & Evaluation Program Mission Support Engineering & Analysis and Training.
Responsibilities
- We are looking for a JuniorSecurity Specialistwith demonstrated experience supporting DoD requirements to join our team at Quantico VA.
- Performclerical and administrative duties in support of security procedures and requirements.
- Processmail for distribution; receiveand returntelephone calls; preparecorrespondence; createreports; typeand preparedocuments; performdata entry; receiveand processnew cases (Notifications of Incoming Personnel; Congressional and SCI nominations)
- Performs database queries using PERSEC JCAVS and the DCII; prints reports/results; retrieves case files; makes appropriate database entries; prints case worksheets; and provides case file to the appropriate government specialist or contractor.
- Destroys confidential documents.
- Processes security documents and visit requests.
- Sends receives and processes confidential and classified materials.
- Sets up and maintains files.
- Coordinates classified reproductions.
- Maintains security precautions and performs a variety of complex clerical tasks.
Qualifications
- High School diploma.
- Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility
- U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance
- One (1) to three (3) years of relevant experience.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Possess an analytical mindset with effective problem-solving skills.
Pay Transparency Statement
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $47200.00/Yr. - USD $78700.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
