Job Description
As a Security Officer - Badge Roomin Commerce City CO you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. Join Allied Universal in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location where you will monitor entry points manage access control and badge activity conduct routine patrols and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support a welcoming experience through strong communication and customer service while working with a team that values being agile reliable and innovative and always acting with integrity.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to site personnel visitors and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Monitor access control points for a busy logistics and distribution location verifying credentials processing visitor and/or contractor entry and helping to control authorized access to buildings yards and restricted areas.
- Observe inbound and outbound activity at gates loading areas and/or employee entrances reporting unusual behavior policy violations and other security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including documenting events and communicating with site leadership and/or first responders when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter checking access points gates fencing trailers and other exterior areas for security-related issues.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
