Job Summary
Position Overview
Keep our communities fed.Our focus is simple but meaningful from our distribution centers to our offices every employee of C&S and their family of companies works to help feed local families neighbors and communities. Inventory Control Specialists assist in this mission by performing the duties of counting and verifying product in the warehouse using handheld devices or forms as well as handling obsolete inventory and validating processes are in place per SOPs. These critical roles help to support our prideful work environment and the delivery of high quality products to our customers.
Job Description

1st Shift Monday to Friday 7am to 3:30pm
4875 N Susquehanna Trail York PA 17406
Earn $18 per hour
You will contribute by:
Conducting accurate cycle count of inventory locations per handheld device/forms in the warehouse and make system updates as required
Researching and resolving inventory variances
Validating dating of product in the warehouse and update as required
Auditing and correcting inbound receiving paperwork and perform audits of SOPs as required by supervisor
Responding to buyer requests for item checks in the warehouse
Coordinate the handling of obsolete and at risk inventory (vendor returns donations recalls) to include: identifying communicating adjusting and validating product
Auditing the warehouse processes to ensure we are compliant/manage gains/losses
Monitor activity to ensure work carried out effectively resolve issues as necessary Review processes to ensure correct execution Storage reconciliation as assigned
Whats a great way to stay in shape
Continually Standing bending pulling lifting pivoting up to 90% of shift - (In Freezer Temperatures)
Continually walking on various surfaces including concrete tile carpet etc.
Frequently lifting of product weighing between 1 - 60 lbs. or more
Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overhead
Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height
Safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools
What are we looking for
Being able to work in Freezer ( 0 to -20) temperatures for long periods of time
Prior experience with Inventory Control or similar processes
Familiarity with WMS systems and data entry
Good communication skills and ability to work with others
Prior experience on MHE equipment is a preferred
