At Mission Australia we believe everyone deserves a safe home and the opportunity to thrive. Were looking for a passionate and experienced Team Leader to guide a dedicated team supporting clients facing complex challenges and help deliver meaningful client-centred housing outcomes.

As a Team Leader youll play a pivotal role in leading day-to-day program delivery while supporting both clients and staff. Youll work with a high level of autonomy overseeing service activities mentoring your team and ensuring everything aligns with our values and commitment to positive client outcomes.

Youll also be the go-to person for resolving client-related matters providing expert guidance to staff and fostering a supportive solutions-focused environment.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

• Provide values-driven leadership and day-to-day supervision
• Plan coordinate and support program activities and training
• Work with clients with complex needs using person-centred approaches
• Build strong relationships with clients and external service providers
• Prepare reports track outcomes and support program evaluation
• Support quality safety and compliance processes
• Assist leadership with reporting and data analysis
• Engage with community organisations government agencies and stakeholders
• Support recruitment onboarding and volunteer coordination

Requirements for Success

• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Relevant degree diploma or equivalent experience in the related field
• Experience in leading mentoring and developing staff and managing compliance requirements
• Sound knowledge of housing services policies and legislation
• High-level problem solving coaching and negotiation skills
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and make informed decisions
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Confidence using databases and digital systems
• A collaborative mindset and commitment to confidentiality
