Job Summary
RSA is looking for aPrincipalor Senior SaaS Operations Engineer to join our Global SaaS Operations team.
This is a role that combines product-focused operations with broad platform support. You will helpoperateand improve our SaaS platformswhile also working across cloud governance automation and engineering support initiatives.
This is not a traditional support role.
You will be expected to take ownership of complex problems work across teams and help drive improvements in how weoperateour cloudservices atscale.
WhatYoullDo
Operate and Support SaaS Platforms
- Own the day-to-day operation of production systems ensuring reliability and availability
- Troubleshoot and resolvereal-time production issuesimpactingcustomers
- Lead or contribute to incident response and post-incident analysis (RCA)
- Work beyond surface-level fixes toidentifysystemicimprovements WorkAcross the Platform
- Contribute to cloud governance and operational standards
- Support cost optimization and FinOps initiatives
- Assistengineering teams withtesting validation and deployments
- Take on cross-functional work thatdoesntfit neatly into one team
Drive Automation and Efficiency
- Identifymanual or repetitive processes and automate them
- Improve monitoring alerting and observability
- Build tools and scripts to improve operational scale and consistency
Collaborate Across Teams
- Work closely with Engineering Cloud and CI/CD teams
- Partner with global teams across India and the US
- Provide input on how systems should be designed for operability and reliability
WhatWereLooking For
Core Experience
- 810 years (Senior) or 10-12 years (Principal) in SaaS Operations SRE or similar roles
- Proven experience supporting and operating production systems not just building or deploying them
- Strong experience troubleshootinglive customer-facing applications in cloud environments (AWS and/or Azure)
- Deep Linux systems experience including diagnosing system-level and application-level issues
- Experience supporting cloud-based applications (AWS and/or Azure)
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex production systems
- Scripting or programming experience (Python Bash or similar) to support automation and operational efficiency

- Comfortable working in fast-moving sometimes ambiguous environments

- Ability to balance planned work and real-time operational demands
- Effective collaboration across multiple teams and priorities
Nice to Have
- Experience with Kubernetes or containerized environments
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Datadog Azure Monitor ELK/OpenSearch)
- Exposure to FinOps or cloud cost optimization
- Experience in regulated environments (FedRAMP SOC2 PCI)
- Knowledge of identity and authentication technologies (SAML federation)

- Work in a global team with someoverlapwith US time zones
- Ability tooperateeffectively in high-pressure situations
