SECTION 1: JOB SUMMARY*
Be responsible for the coordination of the on-site maintenance team as well as the teams continuous Improvement and growth
Drive change within Maintenance putting into place preventative maintenance standards as well as reacting to unplanned downtime
Support and engage Operator Asset Care program
Focus on improving the reliability of equipment and processes.
Use data analysis and reliability engineering techniques to identify failure modes and implement reliability improvement projects
Report to Asset Reliability Manager
SECTION 2: DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES*
In accordance with all applicable federal state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson procedures and guidelines this position:
Support attainment of key business metrics through the provision of maintenance support for value stream processes.
Provide timely and accurate reporting on downtime budget and projects.
Manage costs through the delivery of reliability and cost improvement projects.
Manage the execution of the Preventative Maintenance program for the assigned value streams.
Management of the maintenance team to include resource planning training and development opportunities
Ensure timely closure of quality actions such as Audit Actions NCRs and CAPAs.
Project Management - provide timely and accurate reporting on project activities ensuring projects are delivered to agreed timelines as well as Root Cause Analysis and implementation of robust solutions to downtime issues
Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level
Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.
For those who supervise or manage a staff responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition if applicable
Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal State local and Company regulations policies and procedures
Performs other duties assigned as needed
SECTION 3: EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION*
BSc degree or equivalent in a relevant Engineering discipline with 3-5 years of related experience
Understanding of quality policies based on ISO13485
Experience in the Medical Device industry or medical field
Knowledge of specific business practices and software and software applications
Good communication and expression skills
Demonstrated ability to understand technical issues and provide practical and cost-effective engineering solutions
Experience with automated equipment. 5 axis CNC Machining exposure preferred
