Job Summary
Certified Nursing Assistant$23.35/hrPart time: Friday and Saturday 2-10pmMake a difference every day as a patient advocate providing quality of life-enhancing services to those we serve. As a Certified Nursing Assistant you will perform hands-on nursing care with an emphasis on daily care needs and personal the health conditions of individuals served and ensure quality services providedProvide assistance and/or supervision to individuals in the areas of daily living personal care and community/social integrationHelp maintain safe and quality supports for individuals servedInitiate emergency procedures on a needed basisUse equipment correctly and safelyReport any hazardous conditions equipment accidents or incidents to supervisorMaintain current progress notes and any other appropriate documentationAssist with resident activity programs including off-site outings and off-site appointmentsAssist with household activitiesAssist in keeping residence tidy and cleanAssist with meal preparation and mealtimesPrepare rooms for admissions of new residents obtaining equipment and supplies as neededPrepare residents for dischargeActively attend and participate in team meetings and training as required Maintain confidentiality and treat others with dignity and respect in all you do Qualifications: High School diploma or G.E.D.
