Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled and dedicated Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join a dynamic clinical team in Cincinnati OH. In this role you will deliver both critical and non-critical respiratory care services across all age groups using a variety of invasive and non-invasive cardiopulmonary techniques. Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients and monitor their progress and response to respiratory therapies
- Perform both invasive and non-invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Provide respiratory care services in inpatient and outpatient settings
- Accurately document all patient care activities in the medical record
- Educate patients and families on disease processes treatments and home care practices
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams regarding patient cardiopulmonary status
- Precept and mentor students and new staff members
- Participate in departmental meetings training and competency evaluations
- Take on charge or team lead responsibilities as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- Active state licensure to practice respiratory care
- Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) American Heart Association
- Strong critical care knowledge related to cardiopulmonary disease
Preferred Qualifications
- 13 years of clinical experience
- Membership with the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (NICU experience preferred)
