Job Summary

About the Role
As a Cook youll prepare meals that meet the nutritional needs and personal preferences of our residents while maintaining high standards of quality safety and presentation. Youll work in a supportive team-oriented environment where your creativity and passion for food will make a lasting impact on the lives of those we serve.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook meals in accordance with planned menus dietary restrictions and portion control guidelines.
Ensure meals are served attractively on time and at appropriate temperatures.
Maintain a clean organized and safe kitchen environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Monitor and properly store food supplies to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
Collaborate with the dietary team to accommodate special dietary needs and resident preferences.
Assist with inventory management ordering supplies and rotating stock as needed.
Build positive relationships with residents by incorporating feedback into menu planning.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Prior cooking experience in senior living healthcare hospitality or a related setting preferred but not required.
Knowledge of safe food handling sanitation and kitchen operations.
Ability to follow standardized recipes and meal plans while maintaining quality and consistency.
Strong time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be a team player with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
