Job Summary

SCOPE: Prepare and clean gearboxes and component parts for refurbishment and assembly.SPECIAL SKILLS/ Requirements:
Operate overhead crane.
Operate large parts washer and sandblasting equipment.
Operate forklift.
Mechanically inclined with gearbox assembly preferred.
Use handheld power and manual tools.
Work in a safe manner.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED. 3-5 years of mechanical assembly experience gearbox preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Good written and oral communication skills.
Maintain a safe and clean workstation.
Work in a team environment to accomplish goals.
Work overtime as needed.
Ability to lift 50 pounds stand bend and squat for 10 hours.
Manage time and complete the job in a safe manner.
