Breakfast Attendant
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt Hourly
Reports to: General Manager
POSITION SUMMARY
The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for preparing setting up and maintaining the hotels complimentary breakfast area while providing excellent guest service. This role ensures food quality cleanliness and presentation standards are consistently met during breakfast hours
SCHEDULE
- Part-Time 5:00 AM 11:00 AM
- Days: Flexible (weekends may be required)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and set up the breakfast area before service begins ensuring all food items are stocked and attractively presented.
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner and provide assistance as needed.
- Monitor food levels throughout service and replenish items in a timely manner.
- Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area including tables counters and serving stations.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times. Operate kitchen equipment such as coffee makers toasters and microwaves safely and efficiently.
- Wash dishes utensils and equipment used during breakfast service.
- Break down and clean the breakfast area after service including proper storage of food items.
- Dispose of trash and maintain cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to management promptly.
- Assist with inventory and stocking of breakfast supplies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all hotel policies and procedures.
- Provide a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests during breakfast hours.
EDUCATION AND BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous customer service or food service experience preferred
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
