SALARY:18000 per annum in Year 1 with annual salary increases as you progress through the apprenticeship

LOCATION:Glasgow (G73) with travelacross Scotland. You will work alongside an experienced Engineer with pick-ups typically arranged in the city centre.

STUDYCOMMITMENT:Day releaseonce aweek to New College LanarkshireineithertheKirkintilloch Campus (G66 1NH)ortheMotherwell Campus (ML1 2TX)

What youactually doday to day

Shadow andassistexperienced engineers on customer sites helping installCCTV intrudersecurityalarmsand access control systems

Learn how to testthesesystemsdiagnoseand fix faults and completeaccuratereports and documentation to industry standards

AttendNew College Lanarkshireoneday per week as part of your apprenticeship trainings combining classroom learning with hands on experience in the field

What you get out of it

A recognised Level 3 apprenticeship in Fire Emergency and Security Systems setting you up to work as a fully qualified technician/engineer at the end of the programme

What you will bring

3 x Standard 5s includingMaths and English

It is desirable to havefull UK driving licence or a clear plan to obtain one in line with role requirements but not essential

Comfortable and competent working in confined spaces and at heights following all relevant safety procedures and risk assessments

Greatcustomer facingskills with a friendly and professional manner

Genuine eagerness to learn listen to feedback and develop new skills
