Job Description
As a Security Officer Access Control in GONZALES CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic food and beverage location where you will help manage access control monitor entry activity and support security-related operations with professionalism and this role you may use technology communicate with employees and visitors and remain visible at key access points while delivering great service. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees visitors and/or vendors by following site-specific access control procedures and supporting security-related protocols at a food and beverage location.
- Monitor entry and exit points verify identification and/or credentials manage visitor processing and document access activity according to post orders and location requirements.
- Respond to incidents alarms and/or unusual situations in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate relevant details to site contacts supervisors and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas including building perimeters gates parking areas and key access points while reporting maintenance concerns policy violations and/or suspicious activity.
- Support shipping receiving and/or employee entry procedures as assigned helping to deter unauthorized access and maintaining accurate logs reports and other required documentation.
Minimum Requirements:
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
