Sr. Product Manager Proofpoint Threat Protection Group
We areseekinga driven and experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the development and execution of our Threat Protection products. This role will focus on defining product strategy delivering customer-centric solutions and collaborating cross-functionally to address evolvingsecurity threats. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of cybersecurity domains anda track recordof shipping successful products.
Key Responsibilities
Define and execute product strategy roadmap and vision for cybersecurity solutions
Gather and prioritize product and customer requirements through research feedback and data analysis
Collaborate with engineering design sales and marketing teams to deliver high-quality products
Translate complex cybersecurity needs into clear product requirements and user stories
Drive product lifecycle from ideation through launch and continuous improvement
Monitor industry trends threat landscape and competitive offerings to inform product direction
Work closely with customers and stakeholders tovalidatesolutions and ensure product-market fit
Define and track key product metrics (adoption retention performance security outcomes)
Support go-to-market strategies including positioning pricing and messaging
Required Qualifications
35 years of product management experience preferably in cybersecurity or related domains
Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts (e.g. threat detectionSOC operationsidentity & access management cloud security)
Proven ability to deliver products in a fast-paced cross-functional environment
Experience working with engineering teams using Agile/Scrum methodologies
Strong analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Experience withEmailsecurity products or enterprise security platforms
Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g. NIST ISO 27001 MITRE ATT&CK)
Technical background (e.g. engineering computer science or security certifications like CISSP CEH)

Pay within these ranges varies and depends on job-related knowledge skills and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate. The range provided may represent a candidate range and may not reflect the full range for an individual tenured employee. This role may be eligible for variable compensation and/or equity.
