JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective: Operation of spiral winder and cut-off saws and other miscellaneous equipment to fill customer orders.
- Read and understand spec sheet and production orders to set-up machines correctly to produce a quality product.
- Measuring calipering and checking the overall quality of the tolerances per spec sheet.
- Understanding all machine operations to cut the product to spec sheet/customer specifications.
- Operate the machine effectively and efficiently to minimize waste.
- Analyze packaging and make adjustments when needed.
- Identifying quality deficiencies and ability to identify and perform corrective action.
- Ability to communicate finished product on production order.
- Comply with safety regulations/procedures and maintain clean and orderly work area.
- Must be willing to accept and receive supervision and assistance with regard to machine set-up and other essential tasks assigned.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. bend stoop and twist throughout the work day.
- Thread winders to produce a quality core utilizing various layers of paper.
- Perform Snake Lace technique continuously to secure tubes for transport.
- Tie bundles pack boxes stand on end etc.

Required Education and Experience:
- High School education/GED
- 1-2 years of manufacturing experience
Shifts Available: 2nd Shift Monday - Thursday 3PM-1AM including overtime
Starting rate of pay: $29.62/hour
