As a Security Officer Patrol Lead in Louisville KY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents and deliver outstanding customer service and this role you will support daily operations with professionalism and teamwork while reflecting our agile reliable and innovative approach and acting with integrity in every interaction.

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel visitors and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures access control practices and appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents unusual activity and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings production areas parking areas and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations and follow post orders related to restricted areas materials handling and other location-specific protocols.
• Support Allied Universal standards by maintaining a professional presence following assigned post responsibilities and reporting hazards maintenance issues and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience or 2 or more years of security-related supervisor or manager experience or 5 or more years of security-related experience.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Must meet a minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute.
• Must be 21 or more years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
