Job Description
As a Security Officer Access Control Specialist in Conley GA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location where you will monitor entry and exit activity verify access permissions and support security-related operations through routine patrols visible presence and strong this access control role you will help to discourage incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees visitors and/or drivers by following site-specific access control procedures verifying credentials and documenting entry and exit activity at the location.
- Monitor entrances gates guard stations and/or designated access points to help support authorized access for personnel vendors and delivery traffic in a logistics and distribution environment.
- Respond to incidents alarms and/or unusual activity in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate with site contacts and emergency responders when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location including perimeter areas parking areas trailer yards docks and/or warehouse access points as assigned.
- Prepare clear timely reports related to access activity incidents and other security-related observations and report concerns involving facility operations equipment and/or restricted areas.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
