Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills and experience managing patients requiring close monitoring and intermediate-level care.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care in the Progressive Care Unit
Monitor and assess patient conditions including cardiac and respiratory status
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
Respond to emergencies and changes in patient condition
Educate patients and families on care plans and recovery processes

Shift Details:

Night Shift: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
Schedule may vary based on unit needs

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience in Progressive Care / Step-down Unit
Active Registered Nurse (RN) License
AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) Required
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Required
NIH Stroke Certification (NIHSS) Required
