Location: Columbia PA
Duration: 9-Week Contract
Schedule: MondayFriday 2nd Shift (3:30 PM 11:30 PM)
Note: Lunch break will be determined daily. This role requires working independently.
Job Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join a dynamic healthcare team focused on delivering high-quality patient care and supporting population health initiatives. This role involves both clinical and administrative responsibilities ensuring efficient patient flow and excellent care delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Measure and record patient vital signs room patients and prepare them for examinations
- Assist healthcare providers during procedures and accurately document in the EHR system
- Administer medications vaccinations and treatments as directed
- Perform phlebotomy biometric screenings and flu vaccinations
- Respond to patient inquiries and provide appropriate care instructions
- Maintain medical inventory and ensure exam rooms are fully stocked
- Support front office operations including scheduling phone handling and clerical tasks
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient care delivery
Requirements
- Active LPN/LVN license (state of Pennsylvania)
- Less than 2 years of experience accepted
- Recent phlebotomy experience required
- Experience administering flu shots and conducting biometric screenings
- Strong communication and computer skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
