POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Designer is responsible for designing Calvin Klein Womens products in cut & sewn categories work closely with Senior Graphic Designer on graphic execution execute designs based on the Global Design Directions established by the New York Head Office maintaining the brands right aesthetic.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
- Design for Mainline full price and Capsule collection
- Fully responsible for the design process for Womens cut & sew categories from global concept to final products
- Partner with the Senior Graphic Designer to ensure graphic elements are executed seamlessly and align with garments aesthetic
- Integrate feedback from the Merchandising team to ensure assortments meet market needs price points and business goals.
- Oversee the creation of detailed tech packs sketches and specifications while leading fit sessions to ensure high-quality construction
- Proven experience in cut & sew knits with a strong portfolio showcasing technical and creative skills
- Continuous research into fashion trends fabrications and silhouettes to keep the brands essential wardrobe staples and seasonal collections innovative
- Supports loading of sketches and tech packs into the internal database
- Partner and participate with sourcing and development counterparts to ensure product creation meets design quality and price objectives
- Work closely with global design hub for maintaining brand consistency
- Communicate and work closely in a team atmosphere effectively
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Experience: 5-7 years design experience
Education: Bachelors Degree in Fashion Design
Skills:
- Strong fashion aesthetic and organize
- Knowledge of cut & sewn design fabrics and other materials and fittings
- Good interpersonal and communication abilities
- Skillful in AI Photoshop is a must plus office software
- Proficient in English both spoken and written
