As a Software Engineer II at JPMorgan Chase within the Global Banking you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure stable and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firms business objectives.
Job responsibilities
- Design Develop and Implement RPA Solutions: Build test and deploy automation workflows and bots using UiPath Studio integrating Python scripts as needed for advanced data processing
- Analyze business processes to identify automation opportunities collaborating with business analysts stakeholders and team members to deliver effective solutions
- Integrate Python scripts within UiPath workflows for data processing and automation tasks
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing automation solutions
- Document technical solutions workflows and process changes
- Identify hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture
- Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies
- Add to team culture of diversity opportunity inclusion and respect
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 2 yearsapplied experience
- 4 years of experience in RPA automation
- Hands-on experience with UiPath Studio (workflow design activities debugging deployment)
- Working knowledge of Python (basic scripting data manipulation use of libraries)
- Understanding of RPA concepts best practices and lifecycle
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills
- Familiarity with REST APIs and web automation
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g. Git)
- Exposure to Agile/Kanban and JIRA etc. for project management and planning
