Job Summary


We are seeking a highly motivated and tech-savvy IT Intern to join our dynamic team! As an IT Intern you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment working alongside experienced professionals to support our technology infrastructure and end-users. This internship offers valuable real-world experience to complement your academic studies and prepare you for a successful career in IT.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to end-users for hardware software and network issues.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolving computer problems including diagnosing hardware failures software conflicts and network connectivity issues.
  • Install and configure software applications operating systems and peripherals.
  • Assist with maintaining and updating IT documentation including user manuals and troubleshooting guides.
  • Participate in IT projects such as hardware and software upgrades network expansions and cybersecurity initiatives.
  • Perform basic coding tasks using Javascript and Python for scripting and automation.
  • Collaborate with IT team members to identify and implement solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Gain exposure to ServiceNow our IT service management platform.


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a College degree program in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly and concisely.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware and software including operating systems networking concepts and cybersecurity principles.
  • Any coding experience is a huge plus particularly in Javascript and Python.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Eagerness to learn and a passion for technology.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with help desk support or customer service.
  • Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS Azure GCP).
  • Experience with ServiceNow.
