Schedule:
- 4x10-hour shifts (08:30 AM 07:00 PM) Monday Friday
- Every other weekend: 12:00 PM 10:30 PM
Job Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join a dynamic Diagnostic Imaging team. This role involves performing routine radiographic fluoroscopic and portable imaging procedures across multiple departments including radiology nursing units outpatient services and surgical areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic fluoroscopic and portable imaging procedures as ordered by physicians
- Ensure accurate patient positioning and optimal image quality
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff
- Operate imaging equipment and report malfunctions to appropriate personnel
- Manage exam workflows including scheduling and coordination
- Utilize electronic systems for exam ordering tracking and documentation
- Coordinate patient transport through centralized systems
- Communicate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Assist with on-call coordination as needed
- Support and mentor Radiologic Technologist students
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology
- Familiarity with sterile techniques and isolation protocols
- Expertise in patient positioning and radiographic imaging
- Experience operating X-ray equipment and imaging systems
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
Education Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Certifications & Licensure
- ARRT Certification Required
- BLS (American Heart Association) Required
