The Role:
Were hiring a Painter in Thomasville GA and this is an exciting opportunity to join a team where craftsmanship truly matters! In this role youll prep sandblast and apply highquality protective and decorative coatings mixing and testing paints to meet exact specifications. Youll work with detailed paint data sheets maintain a clean and organized workspace and help ensure every finished product meets our high safety and quality standards.
Core Responsibilities:
To perform the job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Prepare surfaces for finishing by sanding cleaning contaminants taping off protected areas and performing sandblasting as needed.
Apply highquality protective and decorative paint finishes to a variety of products ensuring all work meets detailed specifications.
Formulate test mix and apply liquid coatings in accordance with project and manufacturer requirements.
Read interpret and follow paint specifications and product data sheets from multiple paint manufacturers.
Select mix and adjust paint materials to achieve proper color consistency and performance based on job specifications.
Maintain a clean organized work area and ensure all paint equipment and tools are kept in safe reliable working condition.
Follow all workplace safety policies and productquality guidelines to ensure a safe environment and top-tier finished results.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
1 years of experience in industrial painting
Experience mixing paint preferred
Experience sandblasting preferred
Brings a positive respectful attitude to the team fostering cooperation and a work environment where everyone can succeed.

The estimated pay range for this position is $20/hr. to $24/hr.. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors such as skills experience and work location.
