Warehouse Inventory Operative

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Inventory Operative to support day-to-day inventory operations within a busy warehouse environment. This role is essential in maintaining accurate stock levels ensuring efficient goods handling and supporting smooth warehouse operations.

The ideal candidate will be organised proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced setting with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail. Youll play a key role in ensuring inventory is properly tracked stored and managed to support the wider business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out accurate daily weekly and monthly inventory counts including cycle counts and full audits

  • Recording and updating stock levels using warehouse management systems or spreadsheets

  • Supporting goods-in and goods-out processes including receiving stocking and organising items

  • Identifying and reporting discrepancies damages or stock variances promptly

  • Ensuring all items are correctly labelled stored safely and aligned with warehouse standards

  • Maintaining a clean organised and efficient working environment

  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth inventory flow and operations

What success looks like:

  • High levels of stock accuracy and minimal discrepancies

  • Efficient and well-organised warehouse operations

  • Timely reporting and resolution of inventory issues

  • Strong teamwork and communication across departments

Skills & experience:

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

  • Good communication and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to follow processes procedures and safety guidelines

  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

Experience using warehouse management systems such as RedPrairie JDA PKMS or similar is advantageous but not essential. This role is ideal for someone looking to build or grow their career within warehouse and inventory operations.
