Our ideal candidate will be a highly talented and motivated individual who wants to further their understanding of Tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte (TIL) therapy biology and thrive doing bench work. The intern will work with our Process Development (PD) Scientist team to evaluate TIL expansion in the full-scale manufacturing process and evaluate the cell density impact on TIL growth. The work will involve observing and generating transducing TIL and characterization through different ex-vivo assays and culture methods. The intern will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the biotech industry including working with cutting-edge equipment and technologies. At the end of the internship the intern will be expected to present a summary of the work they completed during their training period.

Work Environment
This position will work in an office and a laboratory setting routinely using standard office equipment such as computers copiers printers and filing cabinets. When in the lab there may be a risk of exposure to hazardous or biological waste within the environment through receipt transport storage preparation dispensing administration cleaning and/or disposal of contaminated areas and waste.
