Job Summary
Solvere Technical Group is seeking a detail-oriented Public Affairs Specialist to join our team in Norfolk VA.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with CO XO ED and Department Heads to maintain the command Public Affairs program;
- Provides professional photography video and audio services;
- Writes and edits articles for Navy publications;
- Supports crisis communications;
- Maintains command website social media and digital signage;
- Serves on MARMC Fire Response Team (FRT)
Experience:
- 2 yrs experience writing/editing publications (AP and U.S. Navy styles); knowledge of professional photography and digital imaging
- Experience with social media podcast production and on-the-spot presentations
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign Photoshop Illustrator Audition Premiere)
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Communications Political Science or English
