Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to understand their personal insurance needs.
- Provide expert advice on personal lines insurance products including auto home and personal property insurance.
- Prepare and present insurance quotes tailored to clients requirements.
- Assist clients in filing claims and provide support throughout the claims process.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in insurance regulations to advise clients accurately.
- Work collaboratively with underwriters to ensure accurate policy placements.
- Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the team.
- Participate in community events and outreach strategies to promote the companys services.
Essential Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelors degree preferred.
- Valid insurance license in Connecticut.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and insurance sales software.
Desired Experience:
- Proven experience in personal lines insurance sales or related field preferably with a minimum of 2 years in the insurance industry.
- Experience in customer service and account management.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales goals and drive revenue.
- Knowledge of local insurance market conditions and competitive landscape.
